porcelain, flaring body, interior with fine gilt edging, gold-painted ivy tendrils with gilt buttons, inner gilding and white well, the exterior with fine and wide bright and matte gold painted horizontal and vertical bands, bright and matte gold as well as copper painted branches of roses with buds and a love arrow in the centre, the handle with a fluttering butterfly in the centre on a caramel coloured ground, reserve with polychrome painted depiction of a mourning girl with raised eyes and clenched hands, a birdcage stands to the side, the dead bird lies in front of it, a garden view in the background, column on balustrade and purple curtain with red cord to the side, handle heightened with gold with scroll terminal, saucer with wide gilt edging on the underside, height 8 cm, diameter 14.5 cm
