porcelain, clock case with 3 volute feet, gilt, light turquoise and light purple rocailles, small and large sculptural polychromed floral tendrils with sprigs of leaves, surmounted by a personification of Autumn sitting with grapes in his hair and a red wine goblet in his right hand, on the right side Spring depicted as girl with a rose wreath in her hair and a garland of roses in her hands, the mid-section with Summer wearing a corn wreath on his head, a sheaf of ears with sickle in the left hand, with his right hand protecting himself from the sun, on the left side Winter sitting with a fur lined cape and warming himself at the fireplace, glazed clock case with white dial, black Roman and Arabic numerals and hands, movement requires professional servicing, height 47 cm, width 28 cm, slightly chipped and some restorations, the inside of the base with short firing cracks, base height 12.5 cm, width 45 cm, blossoms and leaves with minor chipping
Meissen, underglaze blue crossed swords mark, second half of the 19th century, model no. 2172, model by Ernst August Leuteritz 1870–1880 (Ru)
