Otto Walcha, Meissner Porzellan, 1975, p. 414: The relief decoration “Neubrandenstein” was created in 1744 on the lip of the plate, in a way similar to the osier pattern, by means of a rightward movement and a leftward twist in the notch, developing s-shaped lines.
