Eduard van der Nüll is considered the most significant architect of he socalled Ringtsraßen Historicism. After his studies at the polytechnical school and the Academy in Vienna under Peter von Nobile he travelled extensively with his friend August Sicard von Sicardsburg through Western Europe.
