A comparable drawing by Luca Cambiaso with Apollo and Marsyas is kept in the Art Institute Chicago (Inv. Nr. 1922.557), another study in the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Inv. Nr. 2012.58.205). Another drawing of the same theme with an attribution to Luca or Giovanni Cambiaso was sold at Christies’s New York (Lot 14) on 5th October 2007.
