The building of the Vienna Mercantile Community Schwarzenbergplatz (today No. 14) was built in 1902 after designs of Ernst von Gotthilf and Oskar Neumann in the Neo-Baroque style. Emperor Francis Joseph opened it on the occasion of a festive ceremony in 1903.
