The so-called lighthouse in Lake Wolfgang was located on a small rocky island near the shore of the Saint Wolfgang side at the narrowest point of the lake between the mouth of the small river Zinkenbach and St. Wolfgang. It was built in 1845 for the pleasure of summer visitors and had a viewing platform. It was demolished in 1961 due to dilapidation.
