Very excellent, vigorous and even impression of the 4th block, Meder 255 II a (of d), with the architectural framing, executed c. 1519, after the year of Maximilian’s death. With the crack beginning at the left of the coat of arms and continuing through the hat of the Emperor, however not through his hair and coat and prior to the damage of the monogram. Slightly browned, somewhat soiled, otherwise in an excellent condition.
