In this painting, Empress Elisabeth is depicted alongside Emperor Francis Joseph I, Duke Louis in Bavaria and Crown Prince Rudolf in the foreground. The person next to the Empress in the carriage is probably Baroness Auguste von Wallersee (morganatic wife of Duke Louis in Bavaria). In the years around 1880, Duke Louis (brother of Empress Elisabeth) and his wife often came to Gödöllö to hunt.
