The present drawing is related to the painting "The Finding of Moses" (c. 1570/80) in the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon (Inv. A-66). The present sheet was presumably executed by a pupil of Paolo Veronese in the master‘s workshop after a drawing or as a ricordo after the painting.
