Morgan Motor Company has built sporty cars in their factory in Malvern since 1910. In the beginning, these cars had three wheels, and later four. In 1950, the company presented the +4, a proper sports car, with more displacement and power than pre-war creations. Without major changes, driven by high-volume series engines, the +4 was still around decades later, and remains so to this day. There was an optional two- and four-seater. The purist roadster is considered proper English and, thanks to its light construction, offers performance that is more than convincing. The +4 models also had Triumph TR motors.

This Morgan was the property of the former President of the Morgan Sports Car Club in Pennsylvania. He first acquired the touring car at the age of 90. The + 4 is in exceptional original condition with the original, delightful leather patina. The paint was redone years ago in this special factory colour. The car was imported to Germany in 2015. There, the front axle was overhauled and the crank shaft seal and five tires were renewed. The invoices for this work are all on hand. In 2016 the vehicle underwent an inspection and obtained the vintage certification. The top is complete, including two sets of side windows along with tonneau cover. All in all, this is a very interesting vehicle, has a nippy engine, and is ready for extensive use. The car has that roadster feeling and is absolutely appealing!
