1958 Jaguar XK 150 SE FHC

1958 Jaguar XK 150 SE FHC - Classic Cars

In May 1957, Jaguar unveiled the successor to the XK 140. Once again, the body had been smoothed. Its full-length windshield made it appear much more modern, the interior offered far more space, the performance increased again to more than 200 hp and four wheel disc brakes ensured that the vehicle and its load now came to a standstill accordingly. Jaguar had not only managed to make a great leap forward with the XK 150, but also a serious performance car.

This XK 150 SE was delivered as a new car to the dealer, Eastern Jaguar, in Montreal, Canada. Its first owner was a certain R.J. Wilson of Hamilton, Ontario. The consignor bought the XK 150 in England in its already restored condition. The car has the ability to immediately impress its audience based on both the interior and exterior. The fact that a 3.8-liter engine from an Mk 2 was placed beneath the hood was also not seen as a bother. On the contrary, this larger engine was also in the last XK and its extra kick provides additional power for more driving pleasure. Unfortunately, the owner’s health is not what it used to be, so this wild cat is now looking for a new home. The date of its individual authorization was already set before the owner’s hip asked for a renewal, and thus this ushered in the decision to separate. So now the Jaguar XK150 Coupe awaits its new owner in timeless elegant color combination, freshly serviced and, if desired, also typified after the auction in a good week’s time!
