Franz Bernhardt the Younger Historical and portrait painter. Son of the porcelain painter Franz Bernhardt. He entered the Academy in 1812, aged 12, and studied, with short interruptions, until 1817. He exhibited at the St. Anna exhibitions from around 1820 to 1847, and in 1834 with the painting „Knitting Lesson“.
