Achille Vianelli was an Italian landscape painter, who painted mainly in watercolor. He combined his landscape scenes frequently with genre scenes. In 1819 Vianelli moved to Naples, where he worked in the Royal Topographical Office and got to know Giacinto Gigante. Together they began their education with Jakob Wilhelm Hüber and then at the Academy with Pitloo. Together with Gigante he published a series of lithographs "Viaggio pittorico nel Regno delle Due Sicilie" (1829-1834). In 1848 he moved to Benevent. He married Gigante’s sister. He is considered a member of the school of Posilippo. His son Alberto Vianelli was also a landscape painter.
