1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible 7-litre

1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible 7-litre - Classic Cars

Chevrolet covered the middle-class market in the 1960s with the Chevelle. They offered this car in all body types, with a wide variety of performance versions and numerous equipment options. The SS models had a sporty touch, with bucket seats and wild striping. It wasn't only the youth of that time that tested its sporty potential on the quarter-mile; Don Yenko, a Chevrolet dealer from Pittsburgh, had similar ideas. He added a 7-litre V8, among other things, making the car an absolute weapon.

According to information from Chevelle specialist Barry Ward, this Chevelle was restored for over $40,000 in 2005. The core of vehicle is the 7-litre big block engine, which makes the convertible fly. The power is enormous – and the sound, as well. This convertible is a guaranteed help in the midst of downsizing rage. The electronic top and the beautiful centre console are almost besides the point. Power steering, power brakes, and an automatic gearbox help the handling considerably and contribute significantly to the casual use of this muscle car. The Chevelle was a show winner at famous car shows in the US in 2013 and 2014. This recognition is something to be proud of and speaks to the restoration. All in all, an extremely cool car, far away from the everyday and pure joy on every trip!
